NEW GENDER-SPECIFIC GROUP THERAPY PROGRAMS OFFERED AT THE CENTER FOR HEALTH & REHABILITATION

Starting July 2014, the  Center for Health & Rehabilitation has announced two new gender-specific group therapy programs.

MEN

Men's Recovery for Life Substance Abuse Group.   Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.   This is an open group that provides effective strategies to maintain a drug and alcohol free  lifestyle.

Men's Anger Management Group.   Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.   This is an open group.    You will become able to identify triggers for anger and pro-social ways to manage emotions without becoming verbally or physically aggressive.   Promotes living a healthy lifestyle.

WOMEN

Recovery for Life Women's Group.   Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday from  11;30 AM - 1:30 PM.   This is an open group that welcomes new members at any point throughout the program.   You will learn effective strategies to support living a drug and alcohol free lifestyle.

Women's Anger Management Group.   Tuesdays from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.   This open group will enable you to identify triggers for anger and pro-social ways to manage emotions without becoming verbally or physically aggressive.   This group promotes living a healthy lifestyle, as anger impacts physical and emotional health.

We also offer diagnostic assessments, clinical assessments, ASI assessments, individual therapy, Men's Recovery Group, Women's Recovery Group, gender-based anger management therapy, medication management, nursing services, urine drug screens, and community linkages.
