Jennifer Bartl, Behavioral Health Program Manager at the Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center, arrived early in the morning at a hotel loading dock near Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

She was there to pick up five bicycles that were being donated to homeless youth, or those at risk for homelessness, who receive behavioral health services at Oak Hill.   "It is a great opportunity to be able to give our most at-risk clients something useful," says Bartl.   "A bike will enable them to rise to school and anywhere they need to go."

The bikes were donated by StandUp for Kids Atlanta.   The non-profit organization connects homeless and at-risk youth with services that helps to meet their basic needs, and successfully transition from the streets.   The non-profit received over 100 bikes from an anonymous corporate donor.   Oak Hill  has collaborated with the organization since 2011.   More information on Stand Up for Kids is available at: standupforkids.org/atlanta.
