Bill Mason - Facilities Project Manager | Print |


Bill Mason is the Department of Real Estate & Asset Management’s Facilities Program Manager. He is responsible for implementation of the Capital Improvement Plan funded by Fulton County’s Urban Redevelopment Bond. The Plan provides for the repair, renovation, and redevelopment of County owned facilities in the Urban Redevelopment Area of the City of Atlanta, which encompasses the Fulton County Justice Center Complex and Government Center.

Bill has a breadth of commercial real estate experience in leasing, project development, and construction management along with property and facilities management with publicly traded corporations and REITs. He has performed successfully in project, advisory, and senior management roles from Texas to Florida, throughout the Mid-Atlantic and into the Northeast. Most recently, Bill was a Vice President with JLL (formerly Jones Lang LaSalle) in Baltimore, MD where he directed  the redevelopment and operations of 2.1 million square feet of central business district and suburban properties along the east coast. 

Bill began his career in leasing and development with Cadillac Fairview, then a public Canadian corporation, before joining Homart Development, the real estate subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck & Co. He then served in senior property management positions with CBRE (formerly Insignia Financial Group). He later joined the publicly held St. Joe Company as head of asset management and ultimately president of its Atlanta based brokerage subsidiary.  Bill created the facilities management operations at Haskell, a nationally known design-build construction firm.

Bill possesses a Bachelor Degree (University of Georgia) and a Masters in City Planning & Urban Development (Georgia Institute of Technology).  He studied abroad at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.
