Fulton Residents Invited to Open House

Fulton County will hold a community celebration from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 31 to dedicate the newly renovated North Fulton Service Center located at 7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs 30350. 

County joins agencies across the country in “America’s Night Out Against Crime” campaign to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness

Fulton County residents are invited to join the Fulton County Police Department at their “National Night Out” event Tuesday, August 3, 2010, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., at 5495 Old National Highway, College Park, GA 30349.

July is National Parks and Recreation Month across the nation and Fulton County’s Parks and Recreation Department is joining in the fun.  This year’s National theme is “Celebrate, Advocate, Recreate!” and Fulton County Parks and Recreation is encouraging residents to visit its parks and learn more about its services.

According to the CDC, an estimated 20% of U. S. high school students smoke cigarettes and each day 3,900 young people between the ages of 12 and 17 smoke their first cigarette while an estimated 1,000 youth become daily cigarette smokers. 

Fulton County Housing and Community Development continues to reach out to citizens with information and education. 

Fulton County Housing and Community Development Department will host more Information and Outreach Sessions during July to educate homeowners on their legal rights and the home repair scam artists that target them.
