Fight obesity with making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.  The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness encourages parents to teach children to eat right with color to get proper nutrients.

Fulton County Health Services Encourages Tuberculosis Education | Print |

In recognition of World TB Day, the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness will sponsor a Tuberculosis Walk on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Grant Park.  The department will also conduct information sessions on Thursday, March 24 at the Aldredge Health Center.  County residents are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to gain valuable information about tuberculosis.

  • Installation techniques and maintenance for various types of public art

Fulton County Arts and Culture Hosts 2011 Spring Break Art Camp and Summer Camp Preview | Print |

If you are looking for something fun and exciting for your kids to do during the upcoming Spring Break, Fulton County Arts and Culture has the solution for you.  On Monday, April 4 – Friday April 8, 2011 Fulton County Arts and Culture will host its 2011 Spring Break Art Camp & Summer Camp Preview.

Fulton County Commission Recognizes Environmental Health Services for its Achievements | Print |

On March 2, 2011, Fulton County Commissioner Joan Garner, District 6, recognized the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness Division of Environmental Health Services for their dedication to protect residents and visitors patronizing Fulton County eating establishments.  In particular, Commissioner Garner recognized the division for achieving federal standardization from the Food and Drug Administration in food service establishment inspection.
