South Fulton offers Community Garden Beds | Print |

Limited quantity of beds available

Fulton County Cooperative Extension and South Fulton Master Gardeners, in partnership with Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards, have established the District 7 Community Garden.  The garden will have ten (10) garden beds available and are seeking District 7 residents to be occupants of a plot.  A $25 fee is required for plot holders.  The garden is located behind the South Fulton Government Center at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA.

This is a unique opportunity for residents to participate in an ever-growing national trend of urban gardening, says Vice Chair Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards, District 7.

Fulton County Cooperative Extension along with Fulton County Parks and Recreation will prepare the garden beds, provide planting materials and give technical advice.

Interested residents can register by calling Grantly Ricketts, Cooperative Extension Agent, at 404 762-4077 or by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
