Comments Sought on Fulton County 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Proposal | Print |

Fulton County residents are invited to comment on a grant application that will help Fulton pay for activities that prevent and control crime.

The deadline to submit comments for the Fulton County 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program proposal is Friday, August 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. JAG helps governments thwart crime by funding local initiatives, technical assistance, training, personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, and information systems for criminal justice.

It is anticipated that this grant application will be considered at the Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 Board of Commissioners’ recess meeting.

Fulton County is required by the U.S. Department of Justice-Office of Justice Programs to solicit citizen comments on the JAG proposed projects.
