Alan P. Pryor Named Economic Development Director for South Fulton Special Services District | Print |

Fulton County Manager Zachary Williams has appointed Alan P. Pryor as its new Economic Development Director for the South Fulton Special Services District.  Pryor will oversee the County’s efforts to promote economic growth and the creation of jobs within Fulton County, with a specific focus on unincorporated South Fulton.

This South Fulton Special Services District-funded position will help to recruit new industries, support existing businesses, and expand local employment opportunities. As the economic development Director, Pryor will also manage staff assigned to the Office of Economic Development and Business Services.

Pryor comes to Fulton County from Tennille, Georgia where he served as the Downtown Development Authority Director.  He was responsible for the creation of programs that enhanced the lives of citizens and businesses through trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities within Tennille. 

Pryor brings more than 20 years experience in business consulting, research and development, manufacturing, and procurement to the County.   He hold’s a master’s degree in Finance, Marketing and International Business from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington & Lee University.
