Get ready to play in the dirt again! Fulton County Cooperative Extension will hold a Spring Gardening and Canning Workshop on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Join us to learn the fundamentals of planting a vegetable or flower garden that yields beautiful crops.  Also, learn the newest techniques for canning fresh vegetables and planting a container garden.

This free workshop is offered to county residents wanting to plant their own vegetable or flower garden. Interested residents can also learn how to safely preserve vegetables and fruit at home, learn updated methods on home canning and what you need to get started with canning.
