Fulton County to Host Wolf Creek Amphitheater Grand Opening on June 4 | Print |

Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards, District 7 and the Fulton County Board of Commissioners Open Amphitheater in South Fulton 

Fulton County residents are invited to join us on the lawn at the new Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, June 4, 2011, for the kick-off of the Wolf Creek Inaugural Music Festival.  The Amphitheater is located at 3025 Merk Road, College Park, Georgia 30349.

The festival will open the venue with a free concert featuring recording artist, poet, and songwriter India Arie, whose music has inspired and motivated people worldwide. 

Tickets are required for the free concert, which is open to Fulton County residents ONLY. Doors will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. and the concert will kick off at 6:30 p.m.

Starting Thursday, May 26, Fulton County residents can obtain tickets at the Southwest Arts Center, located at 915 New Hope Road, Atlanta, GA 30331, and at the Sandy Springs Library Branch, located at 95 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.

Residents must be 18 years and older and show a valid drivers license or Georgia ID to receive tickets. There is a limit of two tickets per person with valid ID.  Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. 

  • Tickets will be available at the Southwest Arts Center Mondays-Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Tickets will be available at the Sandy Springs Library Branch on Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from Tuesday to Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tickets will not be available for pickup on Monday, May 30, 2011 as both facilities will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.
