General Primary Election July 31, 2012 | Print |

vote_iconThe Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections encourages registered voters to participate in the General Primary Election on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. 


Absentee Voting by Mail
Registered voters can request an absentee ballot by mail by filling out an absentee ballot application and faxing it to the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections (404-730-8839 or 404-730 7024). The application is available at http://www.fultoncountyga.gov/registration-elections. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the July 31, 2012 General Primary is Friday, July 27, 2012.  Completed absentee ballots must be received by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

Advance Voting in Person
Advance voting in person for the General Primary will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 through Friday, July 27, 2012 at three locations: Fulton County Public Safety Building (130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303), North Fulton Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Suite 232, Sandy Springs 30350), and the South Fulton Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park, GA 30349) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Saturday Voting will be offered at all three locations on Saturday, July 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Election Day
On the day of the General Primary Election (Tuesday, July 31, 2012), voting precincts will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Voters can log on to http://www.fultoncountyga.gov/registration-elections to look up their specific precinct, or call the Department of Registration and Elections at 404-612-7020.

The unofficial results will be available at www.fultoncountyga.gov after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.  Election results are unofficial until certified by the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections.
