Fulton County to Conduct Special Election for Georgia House District 50 on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 | Print |

A Special Election will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 to fill a vacancy in State House District 50. The election for Georgia House District 50 will occur at select City of Johns Creek, GA precincts.

Early Voting will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015  from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday at the John's Creek Environmental Campus located at 8100 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022.

Saturday voting will be held December 27th from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Early voting locations will be closed for holidays on December 24, 25, and January 1.

On Tuesday, January 6, 2015, polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the following precinct locations:

Citizens must have been registered to vote by Monday, December 8, 2014 to participate in the January 6, 2015 special election. Voter registration forms can be obtained at the county registrar’s office or from the Secretary of State’s website: www.sos.ga.gov/elections.

This is a non-partisan special election with no party primaries. However, each candidate’s party affiliation, if any, will be listed on the ballot. Run-off elections, if needed, will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
