Senior Multipurpose Facilities to Host Annual Artist Crawl | Print |


All four senior multipurpose facilities will exhibit senior artworks May 15-16

Fulton County wants the public to view the creative works of senior participants at all 4 senior multipurpose facilities May 15 and 16.   The Department of Senior Services will host an Artist Crawl May 15-16 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   The artwork will include paintings, ceramics, mixed media, textiles, clay and other works of art created exclusively by seniors.

The free exhibits are part of the annual celebration of Older Americans Month and demonstrate the ability of seniors to “Engage at Every Age.”   “Your ability to contribute positively to the quality of life in our communities does not end at a certain age,” said Senior Services Department Director Dr. Pamela Roshell.  Seniors are never too old to participate in activities that enhance our communities while they also contribute to their own continued physical, mental and emotional well-being,” added Dr. Roshell.

Fulton County’s four senior multipurpose facilities are housed in the following locations:

The Artists Crawl is hosted annually by senior multipurpose facilities throughout the year.   For the first time, the 2018 Crawl will be hosted simultaneously at all four facilities.
