Department of Arts & Culture Announces 2019 Funding Deadline | Print |

Contracts for services

Each year, Fulton County invests in non-profit organizations to ensure that Fulton County citizens enjoy a wide array of rich arts experiences. The Fulton County Department of Arts & Culture (FCAC) announces funding ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 for Fulton County based arts, cultural and community based non-profit organizations and artist collectives for the 2019 funding cycle.

Eligible groups are encouraged to apply for these service contracts which are designed to support activities taking place between January 1 through December 31, 2019 that addresses the Fulton County Arts & Culture program mission to provide access, participation and appreciation of the arts for all Fulton County residents.

Contracts for Services (CFS) provides unrestricted general operating and project support to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, arts & culture organizations, cultural institutions, colleges and universities, as well as units of government that produce or present ongoing arts programming open to the public. CFS contractors present programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the County, captures the imagination of adults, families and youth, invigorate neighborhood growth, support economic development and provides jobs.


  • The maximum ceiling amount for all organizations is $50,000.
  • Arts Services applicants may, as an option, apply for General Operating Support.
  • City permits are required for all public art projects with application submissions.
  • All organizations, inclusive of those with budgets greater than $3 million, may apply for either Project or General Operating Support.
  • New organizations are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to receive technical assistance with the application process.

The 2019 applications open August 28, 2018, and closes October 29, 2018. The Small Arts Project category has rolling deadlines which are subject to funds availability.  Applications must be completed and submitted through the WebGrants system: http://fulton.dullestech.net

The FCAC Contracts for Services (CFS) team will conduct application process workshops which are free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required. First time applicants are required to attend one workshop or consult with the FCAC staff prior to submitting an application.

Important Program Requirements:

 Fulton County introduced its revised proactive Access Policy for Persons with Disabilities in 2015.   Informational workshops will be announced for all 2019 contractors/vendors.

New applicants are required to register for a Fulton County vendor code as the first step in the application process using the vendor code self-service system. Applications without a confirmed vendor code will be considered ineligible for funding consideration.

Returning applicants are encouraged to complete an annual update of vendor information in the self-registration system including address and contact. All applicants should contact the purchasing department to ensure that all the required business documents have been received. Applicants who are approved for funding and are presented with fiscal agent issues that are not resolved at the time of contract will forfeit the award.

Things to Remember:

Deadlines for submission of accurate and complete applications and final reports will be strictly enforced.  Organizations interested in applying should review the guidelines available at www.fultonarts.org and contact CFS staff early in the planning process to verify eligibility. Staff members are available to assist organizations throughout the application process.

Applications must be submitted in WebGrants by 11:59 p.m on the published deadline date. Applications submitted after the deadline are not eligible to move forward to panel and will not be accepted.

The Fulton County Arts & Culture (FCAC) is a cultural leader in Fulton County and one of the largest funders of the arts in the State of Georgia. The FCAC assists the Fulton County Commission in the development of public policy on public support for the arts industry, makes recommendations to Fulton County Commissioners on funding the arts and oversees the development and implementation of publicly assisted programs that address the diverse cultural needs of FultonCounty's citizenry. Through the work of five community arts centers, contracts for services art funding, and arts education programs, the FCAC strives to better the lives of Fulton County residents.
