The Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance provides the following workshop training to vendors who want to do business with Fulton County Government and want to understand the procurement process. Training will be held in the Fulton County Government Center, Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance at 130 Peachtree Street, S.W., Suite 1168, Atlanta, Georgia 30303; from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Time is allotted for questions and answers. There is no cost for training.
The purpose of the workshop is to:
Expand vendor's knowledge and skills in preparing a "responsible and responsive" proposal Give vendors an overview of the RFP preparation and evaluation processes
Assist vendors in understanding Purchasing terminology
Give vendors a synopsis of the documents required to submit a responsive proposal
Attendees will receive answers to the following questions:
What is Request For Proposal (RFP)?
What is Pre Proposal Conference? And why attended?
What documents should be in a response to a RFP and how should they be submitted?
How will your proposal be evaluated and scored?
