    As a result of 2010 Census data, Fulton County has seen a surge in seniors 55 and older. The active “Baby Boomer” generation (55+) continues to fill senior centers and search for services for their aging parents and themselves. Seniors 65 and older are participating heavily in neighborhood centers throughout the County.  In response to the growing need, Fulton County wants first-hand knowledge of what residents need.

Funk Fest 2012 will take place this weekend at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater, located at 3025 Merk Road, Atlanta, Georgia.

Absolultely NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE ALLOWED.  There will be food vendors and alcohol/drinks for sale.

Fulton County Residents Can Take Advantage of the Making Home Affordable Program on June 1 and 2 | Print |

Opportunities available to meet with banks regarding mortgage modifications

The Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in Fulton County will be the next stop for the Making Home Affordable program.  County residents can take advantage of the event on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2, 2012, to meet with their banks in an effort to save their homes from foreclosure.  The event will run from 1:00 pm - 8:00 p.m. on June 1, and from 9:00 am - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2.  The GICC is located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park, GA 30337.  The event is sponsored by the Making Home Affordable Program.
