Tim

Tim Dimond is the Deputy Director of Real Estate and Asset Management for Fulton County. He is responsible for D.R.E.A.M.’s Real Estate Management and Acquisitions, Emergency Management, Space Planning & Move Management, Sustainability, Solid Waste and Fleet Services.

Tim possesses an extensive background in real estate and asset management in public and private markets; his experience includes leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio management, investment sales, public–private partnerships, facilities management, and bond and capital markets financing. Tim has served in numerus senior level executive leadership positions where he has managed operating and capital budgets in excess of $750M and real estate portfolios in excess of 40M square feet. Tim is the former Director of Real Estate for the District of Columbia Government and the Director of Real Estate Development and Management for the State of Florida.

Tim has held other senior level positions including Vice President of Asset Management for Realogy; Senior Vice President of Institutional Advisory Services, Coldwell Banker Commercial; Director of Corporate Real Estate, U.S. Office Products; and General Manager, CARRAmerica Realty Investment Trust. 

Tim served on the State of Florida Critical Infrastructure Committee; District of Columbia Comprehensive Planning Task Force, Redevelopment Land Agency; District of Columbia Business Recovery Task Force; District of Columbia Emergency Preparedness Task Force, Mayor’s Crisis Management Team and the National Real Estate Trust Foundation

Tim possesses a Bachelor’s Degree (Barry University) and earned the Certified Public Manager’s certificate (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where he is a currently past President of the Washington Chapter, Past Governing Councilor and Vice Chairman on IREM’s National Board.
