Required Immunizations, Health Screenings Offered at College Park and North Fulton Regional Health Centers

FULTON COUNTY– With just  a little over two weeks before the start of the 2017 school year, the Fulton County Board of Health is reminding parents that they can get their children’s required vaccinations and health examinations at two Fulton County regional health centers now through August 31.

The vaccinations and screenings are affordably priced and are given on a first-come, first-serve basis from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the College Park Regional Health Center, 1920 John Wesley Avenue, College Park, GA 30337 (photo top right) and the  N. Fulton Regional Health Center, 3155 Royal Drive, Suite 125, Alpharetta, Georgia 30022   (photo bottom right).

Families may pay for the immunizations and health examinations using cash or credit/debit cards.   Georgia Medicaid, Peach Care for Kids are also accepted.   Private insurance is not being accepted at this time.   Maximum costs of immunizations is $21.93. Cost of physical exams is $56.00. Cost of health exams are $31and include vision, hearing, dental and nutrition screenings. Sliding scale fees are available.

Fulton County is only offering immunizations at these two health centers during the back-to-school rush.

5 Tips to make your child’s immunization appointment run smoothly:

  • Bring your children to the clinic for immunizations and also bring them back when they are coming to pick up immunization certificates. Sometimes immunizations need to be updated.  
  • Bring photo identification for the parents and identification for the children.
  • Be sure to bring your insurance or Medicaid cards.
  • Bring proof of income, if uninsured.  
  • Please be prepared for a two-hour appointment time.
