Fulton County Animal Services Impounds Two Dogs After 10-Year-Old Is Attacked | Print |

Fulton County Animal Services impounded two dogs after attacking a 10-year-old boy in an Atlanta home.  Animal Services received a call from the Fulton County Police Department on December 2, 2014 at 4:53 p.m.  Upon arriving to the home located at 6472 DeKeon Drive, Animal Services quickly impounded two Mastiff dogs and transported them to the County‚Äôs animal shelter.  

The boy was rushed to Egelston Pediatric Hospital for emergency surgery. He remains in the hospital where he will undergo additional surgeries.  

Fulton County Animal Services issued nuisance citations to the owners of the dogs for a court date of January 16, 2015.  The two dogs will be held until court-ordered disposition per county ordinance.
