The 6-week, once weekly workshop provides training for beginning students who want to learn the basics of "Sign-Language." The first class was held on Friday, April 3, 2015. The "Speaking Hands" class is one of a variety of classes offered at the Darnell Facility. Other classes offered at Darnell and three other Fulton County senior multipurpose facilities include Water Aerobics, beginning and advanced exercise classes, computer classes, arts classes, quilting, sewing, jewelry making, other creative classes as well as health and fitness workshops. Classes vary based on participant interests at each facility. Use of senior multipurpose facilities is free for residents of Fulton County.
