Lifestyle Changes Can Decrease the Risk of Cancer | Print |


Fulton County Cooperative Extension class focuses on good nutrition and cancer prevention

In collaboration with the American Cancer Society, Fulton County Cooperative Extension will provide information and guidance about how to decrease the risk of cancer by adopting lifestyle changes such as acquiring good eating habits. A cooking class will be held Saturday, June 4th from 9am – 12pm at the St. Paul AME Church, 1540 Pryor Rd., SW, Atlanta, GA 30315.

Class participants will receive information regarding breast cancer, cervical and colorectal cancer prevention. Eligible students will receive resources for cancer screenings. Food demonstrations will be held to help participants learn simple ways to cook healthy, delicious meals.
