Seniors at the Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility celebrated Mother’s Day in advance with a “Queens and Their Chapeaus” Luncheon and Hat Show.   The Tuesday, May 9 event was a part of the celebration of Older Americans Month.   The four senior multipurpose facilities celebrate throughout May with fitness demonstrations, tournaments, teas, music, community days, workshops and other special events.
