12 Polling Locations to Change in Fulton County for June 20th Runoff Election | Print |

Notification letters have been mailed and North Fulton residents urged to check if change would affect them

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections will be required to change twelve (12) polling locations for the Congressional District 6 Runoff Special Election scheduled for June 20th. All affected households will be receiving a notification letter of the changes in location by standard mail. Each affected eligible 6th Congressional District voter will also receive a new voter registration card.  All concerned residents are urged to check on-line to find out if the changes would affect their poll on Election Day.

“Unfortunately, we will have to move 12 polling locations for the upcoming run-off election,” states Richard Barron, Director, Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections. “The locations will either be undergoing renovations or have scheduled events. The timing of this election is causing us to make these changes.” The department mailed 109,296 notification letters on Monday, May 22nd.

Polling location changes are posted on the department’s website, fultonelections.com. “I strongly encourage residents to take a moment to verify if they are affected by the changes prior to Election Day,” states Barron.
