Seniors Learn How to Spot Cyber Scams | Print |

Fulton County Deputy Chief Information Officer Nicole Keaton-Hart provides computer class participants with first-hand instruction on how to detect cyber scams targeting seniors.   The scams are designed to obtain user names, passwords, social security numbers and other confidential information from computer users.   The first of four workshops was held at the Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility on Monday, October 22, 2018 as a part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.    Additional workshops will be held at the Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Facility, the H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility and the Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility.   To obtain dates and times for future workshops and to register for a workshop, call the Fulton County STARline at 404-613-6000alt. Registration is required.
